Bayberry Wax
Known For:
Being expensive and all natural.
Cost Scale:
Expensive. It takes a lot of berries to make this wax, so it runs pretty expensive and isn’t very easy to find.
Color Additives:
It is already a natural green color and usually extra colors are not added.
Fragrance Additives:
Usually extra fragrances aren’t added to this wax because it has a very nice natural berry smell to the wax itself.
Made Out Of:
- The waxy coating on the outside of berries from the bayberry bush
- Sometimes beeswax is added to the mixture to prevent it from being as brittle
How It Comes:
- 1lb. blocks
Advantages:
- No need to add dye
- No need to add coloring
- All natural and renewable
Disadvantages:
- Can get very expensive
- Cannot really add dye or coloring even if you wanted
