Stearic Acid
Stearic Acid (also known as sterine) is an additive used in paraffin and vegetable waxes to:
- Harden Candles
- Increase Opacity
- Create Candles that Burn Slower
This is commonly used in pillar candles and 3tbsp. per 1 pound of wax should be used (about 1-3%).
